STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

It is the responsibility of the packaging operator to define, clarify, improve and adhere to product packaging procedures in accordance with RICH'S quality standards and policies. In addition to providing the best possible product, value and service to the customer and promoting a safe and clean environment that promotes quality, productivity and a healthy RICH'S employee relationship.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / RESULTS

Packs product on all lines. Manually sorts, counts frozen dough prior to final packing into boxes according to product code specifications. Assist in product labelling, repacking, repacking and reprocessing

Performs minor troubleshooting and adjustments to the device

Adjust conveyors and conveyor guides for different product package sizes.

Adjust and replace construction scales for proper package weight.

Perform regular inspections of equipment to identify worn parts for failures requiring maintenance support.

Rework the product as specified on all lines.

Will occasionally act as mixer assistant or light machine assistant on all lines.

Complies with all safety, GMP, HACCP, plant policy and other related food safety requirements and requirements.

Collect frozen samples.

Remove waste containers for waste products.

Ensure the correct inventory is in the appropriate areas to avoid downtime and rejects being sent to scrap bins.

Duties also include maintaining a good household. Performs other duties as assigned on all lines.


KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Graduation

experience in food production (advantage)

Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to read and write English

Hand dexterity

Good hand-eye coordination

Ability to follow procedures

Must be willing to work flexible hours
